Hathor Capital Brokers LTD (latest Dropet Brokers LTD) is an established brokerage firm specialised in both physical and paper biofuels products across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

With more than 18 years’ experience in the ethanol and biofuels sector, Dropet’s team provides its deep expertise as one of the pioneering brokers of physical ethanol and related biofuels, as well as exchange-traded ethanol products. The company also operates a successful annual biofuels conference in Marbella.

Dropet was acquired by the Marex Group in 2024, allowing Dropet’s clients to access Marex’s products and services in renewables and other commodities. Clients continue to be serviced by the same dedicated team under the leadership of Almudena Berrocal.

With more than 18 years of experience in the energy sector, she currently leads the European physical biofuels team at Marex. Her focus is on designing innovative strategies, optimizing operations, and fostering key partnerships to drive sustainable growth. Previously, as owner of Dropet Intertrading, she managed complex projects and diversified opportunities in energy trading. Her mission is to combine strategic leadership with deep market knowledge to contribute to her team’s success and promote responsible energy solutions.
